Canaway Summer Camp in Toronto is designed for young people ages 13 to 17 from Peru who want to improve their English skills while exploring one of Canada’s most vibrant cities. Your child will immerse themselves in a unique experience that combines learning, fun, and discovery in a safe and enriching environment.

1. You'll discover Toronto while improving your English

In the heart of Toronto, your child will have access to high-quality English classes taught by teachers with extensive experience teaching international students. Our focus on total language immersion ensures that every moment is an opportunity to practice and improve language skills in everyday situations.

  • Classes Monday through Friday for 3 hours

From interacting with locals to participating in group activities, every moment provides an opportunity to build confidence and fluency in English.

2.- Asurrounding area of Toronto

Learning isn't limited to the classroom! The young people will take part in field trips and activities that will allow them to discover the city's history, urban life, and cultural diversity. From visits to iconic sites such as:

  • CN Tower
  • Niagara Falls
  • Toronto Zoo
  • Toronto Islands
  • Harborfront
  • Wonderland


3. College experience at the University of Toronto

During their stay in Toronto, the students will be housed in the University of Toronto’s student residence, giving them an experience that more closely resembles college life. Our staff will be available 24 hours a day.

 

 

4. Requirements for Participating in the Summer Camp

Age: 13 to 17 years old. Participants' ages must fall within this specific range to ensure a cohesive group experience that is appropriate for the planned activities.

Basic English level or A2 according to the CEFR: A basic level of English comprehension and communication is required to participate in camp classes and activities. A free language assessment will be conducted to determine each participant’s level.

Grade book for the last academic semester: This documentation gives us a general understanding of the participant's academic performance, which is useful for tailoring educational activities and providing the necessary support during the camp.
